Priestess TV Episode 7: Making the Priestess Path Your Own with Sora

On episode 7 of Priestess TV, Sora Surya No talks through making the Priestess Path your own.

How boring would it be if we all Priestessed the same way? While you may seek guidance and fellowship from other priestesses or guides, the Priestess Path is an internal journey, as unique to you as a fingerprint.

Watch and listen as Sora walks through the confusion of priestessing the ‘right’ way and provides practical tips on making the Priestess Path your own intimate experience.

1:15 Do these things resonate with you?
2:30- Everything you’re doing is perfect
3:37- Mother Nature’s stone
4:27- Asking yourself questions

It is so easy to compare yourself to others in life to gauge how well you are doing, but this is a disservice to yourself, sisters! Each sister is an individual, independent and unique from anyone else, and so is her Priestess Path!

Priestess TV Ep 6: Priestessing in a Patriarchal World with Julie Parker

On this episode of Priestess TV host Julie Parker answers the question written in by Madison Hedlund (madisonhedlund.com): How do we deconstruct patriarchal systems of religion and show up as priestesses and spiritual leaders in a patriarchal world?

This is a BIG question that is difficult to tackle. Oppression from the patriarchal structures of society+ religious institutions affect womxn around the world and has existed since the beginning of priestessing, thousands of years ago.  I believe most of our sisters have experienced this oppression to some degree during their journeys.

A question so large cannot be fully deconstructed in one episode, but give ear to Julie as she provides historical examples of patriarchal effects and insights on how we may begin deconstruction on an individual level.

Priestess TV Episode 2: Witches + Priestesses with Julie Parker

On today’s episode of Priestess TV, Julie answers a question from Michelle (Chelle) Miller. Her question is, “What is the difference between a witch and a priestess?

Now this is a BIG question and one that doesn’t have a universal answer but let’s listen as Julie explains her views on the subject.

Do you believe there is a connection between priestesses and witches?

Julie believes that both are connected to the spirit realms and at the heart of their existence, they are here to be of spiritual service - especially to other women. Priestesses may be more prone to lead sacred rituals and ceremonies, assist others on their spiritual exploration, while witches are more likely to practice herbalism, divination, and earth-based practices for healing purposes.

What is your takeaway from today’s episode? What other questions come up for you?

Please leave us a comment or question so we may continue the conversation.
