Am I successful?

How do you measure success? I’ve been in this inquiry for a while now and it’s come up for me in a big way this summer. Social media is wonderful for it’s an easy way to connect with my tribe. I can like or comment on posts of dear friends. I can share my thoughts, feelings, and pictures with people around the world and witness the fullest expression of individuals quickly and with love. At the same time, there is so many ways I can go down the road of comparison.

  • My program is similar to hers and she does it better.
  • She had 30 women at her retreat.
  • She figured out the secret to building a consistently growing 6-figure business.
  • She has so much more time to play and space to create.
  • She is connected to some amazing women in her field.
  • She is a talented writer and has written numerous books.
  • She is traveling the world with luxury and comfort.
  • Her home is beautiful and well decorated.
  • She totally has her self-care and exercise routines down with ease.
  • She has over x amount of people following her.
  • Her program has x amount of participants.
  • She has a waiting list of women desiring to work with her.
  • She is deeply loved and respected.

Blah. Blah. Blah.

Do you hear it? Sister, do you hear your own voice getting in your way by shaming you into limited action?

Here is what I do know. Anything that you do is not small nor insignificant. It’s important and hugely impacting the world around you one person at a time. Each action, each thought, each word that you express that comes from your authentic truth creates a ripple in the energetic field of the world and touches everything and everyone around you. We are here to experience life fully and are doing significant work.

Here is my reality.

I had nine women and two sisters who taught and held space with me that came to the Wild Free & Calm retreat in Peru. Nine women paid for a retreat, traveled far to get to the Sacred Valley (including all the way from Australia), left their families and job for a minimum of one week, trusted in my ability to lead, let go of expectation, and was open to making huge shifts and transformation.

I have seven women in The Magic of Circle. Seven women who are committed to a year-long mentorship. That is twelve months of their time devoted to circle, magic work, sisterhood, and their own healing. Each woman show up weekly for a sister call, read magic books monthly, connect with a Goddess regularly, engage in social media, dive into rituals and magic work, intimately connect with myself and the community, and manage their energy, time, family, and life. These sisters are mothers, work full-time, and entrepreneurs. These are women who travel to retreats and women’s circle trainings for they are invested in their own self-development and the connection to their sisters. Out of these seven women - one flew, three drove, one tended to her 4-week old daughter, another Skyped in, and one tended to her heart as she mourned the loss of a dear one. It did not matter if all seven were there in physical form. What was important was that we felt each other there and made sure to acknowledge every single sister who is in The Magic of Circle.

Here are some of the sisters sharing their experience.

I am so incredibly grateful. I see these as huge miracles, gifts from the divine. It takes my breath away every time I think about the way in which my sisters show up.

Sister, do you have an offering that you desire to share with the world but worried that no one will hear the calling? I fear this every time I share another offering or training. Remember that you have to start somewhere and for me it had always meant that I would have a magic number of 7 women attend any event, class, training, or retreat that I led. I always started with 7. And each time I said yes to offering myself again to the Universe, the number of women who have showed up have doubled and tripled. Sisters, 7 can turn into 18 or 35 in no time.

Begin. Start. Take a step. Act with intention now.

No more shame. It’s time to celebrate each moment for even if it seems small, I guarantee it’s a huge magical moment in your life. No task is less important to acknowledge than another. So celebrate sister, celebrate!

You are doing great work. You are successful. You inspire me. Thank you.

I would love to hear about your celebrations below.
