The New Moon will be in Sagittarius this Saturday at 7:32am est. Are you ready to practice your magic skills and call in your intentions for this month? For the month of November, my soul desires to get very clear around my larger vision in life. She also desires to push my limit, go over the edge, fall and trust that I am being fully supported and my needs are not only met but with abundance. This New Moon Ritual will be all about ACTS of DEVOTION.
New Moon in Sagittarius
Saturday, November 22, 2014
7:32 a.m. EST
Sagittarius is a fire sign who enjoys the truth, taking aim and hitting the desired goal without hesitation. I believe intentions can be created and strengthened in the same way.
Lots and lots of candles
New Moon Ritual
Clear your space and yourself with a smudge bundle, palo santo, full moon water, or a selenite wand.
Light A Candle
Lighting the candle represents calling in your spiritual team. In addition, we honor Grandfather Fire who takes away anything we no longer desire to hold within us. He also provides us the space to speak our truth. He holds our vision with his flame.
Cast a Circle
I clear my space
I call on my spirit guides
I call on the goddess -
Yemaya, Pachamama, Hathor, Pele
to clear energy that does not serve me
Allowing myself to be bathed in
I cast a protective circle
Blessing the space and myself
with love, light, healing, and peace
Cast a physical circle with candles
Ground yourself with deep breathes.
Using specifically Ujjayi breath this time. Slightly constrict the back of your throat and begin to breathe. The sound, similar to the ocean, is made as you inhale and exhale through your nostril, keeping the lips gentle closed.Ujjayi breath creates heat within your body. As you continue, devote 10 minutes to sitting and maintaining this breathing practice.
I devote my emotions to the water Goddess, Yemaya, as she provides the well for my feelings to heal. I ask that she wipes away my tears and asks me what I desire to feel. She shows me that my range of emotions are to be celebrated, trusted, and fully expressed.
I devote my soul to the earth Goddess, Pachamama, as she provides the throbbing womb for me to remember the deep wisdom that is within me. Within the center of Earth, I am transmitted the knowledge of my grandmother’s mother. I acknowledge that I am the healer, the witch, the mystic, the priestess, the mother, the sister, the daughter, the wife, the huntress, the warrior, the protector and the teacher.
I devote my spirit to the air Goddess, Hathor, as she provides the unlimited space in the sky for me to dream. It is through the dreaming and visioning my true desires that life is as unique and extraordinary as the stars, the planets, the winged and the moon. She encourages me to be in constant motion, dreaming as large and vast as my soul eagerly encourage me to do so. The air Goddess takes all of my sparkly dreams and sets a beautiful path made out of stars, carving out my journey so I can take flight.
I devote my inner flame to the fire Goddess, Pele, as she provides the red, hot, flame of creativity, curiosity, love and sensual appetite. My body opens to the divine flow of creativity as I continue to channel knowledge. I commit to keeping myself open to love, love unconditionally.
I devote my voice, my hips, my heat, my smile, my breath, my touch to my brothers and sisters. May they feel, really feel my presence. As we join together, may our energy circulate and create a powerful space for manifestation.
What do I desire to manifest this month?
What can I devote myself to?
What is devotion and how do I express devotion?
What does showing up fully look like?
How does the elements of air, water, earth and fire enter into my life?
How may I embody these elements?
What does these elements feel like in my body?
How may I hold the intentions of those around me?
Light a new candle. This one is specifically in devotion to Grandfather Fire.
Speak to him aloud, watching his body take form through the movement of the flame.
Reflect what the past couple of weeks have been since the last new moon.
Share with him your fears around calling in what you really desire.
Share with him your doubts and hesitations.
Ask Grandfather Fire, “Dear loving and just Grandfather Fire, please take away my doubts, hesitations and fires. It no longer serves me and I desire to remove it from my body, my emotions, and my mind.”
Share with Grandfather Fire what you desire to call in. Be as descriptive as you feel called.
He listens dear one so let yourself be open and clear.
Blow out the candle and say, “So it is.”
State your gratitudes.
Say aloud, “May I place my intentions into the fire. Let the ashes by soaked up by Mother Earth. Let the ashes drift to meet Father Sky. May both my mother and father hear my calling and gift me with magic & miracles. May I devote myself to love. So it is.”
