The children threw rose petals on the floor, creating a pathway for my dad to walk me into the circle. Dad, being the stylish man that he is, looking handsome in a black suit, no tie, and cool black sneakers. He took my hand and placed it in Eric’s, who gazed into my eyes with emotions filled with love and joy.
The officiant beautifully walked us through the declaration of our vows. He reminded us that...
As kindness begets kindness, so do dedication, compassion, and forgiveness beget the same. Love has been described as a verb, denoting a call to action. Decide today that nothing will come between you and your commitment to your spouse. Practice actively loving each other every single day of your marriage. I hope that you learn to strengthen one another with grace, empathy, praise, and genuine admiration. Also, that you learn to fight fairly, to resolve conflict, and to see the good in each other above your imperfections. Today is a beautiful day, a joyful occasion, and above all, it is blessed opportunity to commit wholeheartedly to the person you have been called to love.
After kissing my husband, we walked down a path, on each side were our loved ones who shaped us and gave life to our essence. They threw rose petals up in the air, signifying joyous celebration for new partnership, a new day that birth a new family.
The children gathered around us with pencil wands I had gifted them. They took out their wands as if they were mastery students at Hogwarts and placed them one on top of another. My dearest little man, my best friend’s child, said loudly with passion one more blessing to seal the divine sacred union we had energetically created. It was my favorite moment. The pure innocence of children declaring their one final wish is the clear message that the Goddess heard in the cosmos. There is nothing more magical then the spell they placed on us.
Our vanilla lemon lavender cake melted in our mouths as we ate cake before dinner. It delighted me that we followed no order than the one Eric and I desired.
As we waited for dinner to be cooked outside, my sister-in-law, brother-in-law, and three children sang a stunning arrangement of A Million Dreams from The Greatest Showman. They knew I loved that song and as soon as they began my heart shattered into a million pieces, broken open with so much gratitude and love. I cried through the entire song.
It was a special day that continued for three more days. Our families came together, enjoyed rich conversations, relaxed and took in the breathtaking views up on the mountain, played Cards Against Humanity, had cookouts, and gently connected with one another.
Today I unveil some of the moments that I will cherish and never forget.
I will also remember the heartfelt blessings shared via email and social media by you.
Knowing that you were witnessing and celebrating my sacred nuptial with me made me feel so connected to our Sacred Circle Path community.
I find women in our circle are so generous with their love, their support, their time, their open shares, and today is no different. In July, The Priestess Temple School Mistress Mind begins and women around the world have said yes to this experience. Courageously they have followed their heart’s desires, committed to meeting their souls for 14-months while deepening into sisterhood. Julie Parker and I have held space while each sister navigated through the decision making processes and with powerful connection to their intuition, they have arrived at the steps of the temple, to lay down their expectation and humbly join the journey.
The women are real.
They have fears.
They have desires.
They have clear intentions.
They have words of wisdom to bestow onto you.
Meet Carla, Emilie and Jennifer, Priestesses who are part of the Priestess Temple School Mistress Mind. Watch and listen as they share their reasons for saying yes. Let them help you uncover if this journey is the devotional commitment you need as part of the next step to creating divine union with your higher self.
